Lung of Darkness: a tale of tuberculosis
in tanzania

Here’s a short overview of the trip:

4-week stay in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. (the country’s biggest city, on the coast)

3-week stay in Arusha, Tanzania. (near Kilimanjaro, prime safari zone)

During those 7 weeks, we’ll be distributing surveys to healthcare patients via receptionists in selected clinics as well as conducting video-interviews with several healthcare workers.

All information we gather will be presented in the form of a research paper and documentary to Northwestern University and PATH, a seattle-based non-profit.

We’ll be on our own, surviving on grant money from Northwestern. Any time not spent working on the project is ours to experience Tanzania. Good deal, eh?
